Villa Viktoria 1

Getting to the Danube is easy: it’s right across the way. Leave the building, pass under the museum arch, and you’ll see the riverbank. The city center and pedestrian zone are also an easy walk, with the Danube beach and its music-playing beach bar nearby. The apartment itself was clean and nice, and the elevator made access simple. There’s plenty of space when it isn’t busy, though it can feel cramped. In apartment 41, at least, there’s no separation between the sleeping areas: one double bed is upstairs on the gallery and another is downstairs, all in the open. We asked for a crib and got it the same day, but otherwise the service was terrible. Keep the access codes. Driving and parking can be difficult; there’s a paid parking garage nearby. See pictures.
