I came to Germany to study without having found permanent, or even semi-permanent, student housing, so I stayed at this youth hostel while looking for a place. I loved it and would definitely recommend it. I’d give it 10/5, and hope you have a good stay too. The shared bathroom and toilets are separate, but everything is well maintained. A janitor cleaned the common areas and took the trash from our rooms every morning. He was warm and welcoming too. The hostel itself was really, really clean. The staff made me feel safe as soon as I arrived. Alex and Kathrin reassured me that things would work out, and everyone was always smiling and checking that I was okay. That meant a lot. They were flexible about check-in and checkout and easy to reach. I emailed from home and Christin replied almost immediately. They all spoke English pretty well, which helped a lot since I’m not very fluent in German yet.

I stayed here for a couple of days before moving into my room in Ingolstadt. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the hostel was clean and well kept. The toilet and shower are separate, in the old-style layout, and both were maintained well. Breakfast is included and decent, mostly continental, with muesli, milk, coffee, toast, and similar things. I’d highly recommend staying here.

A good option for students, with tidy rooms and beds. You need to reserve in advance. Breakfast is provided, and there’s a football and basketball court nearby. There are also nice seats outside where you can enjoy some fresh air.

I stayed here twice and would recommend it, especially for exchange students. The price is very accessible, and the place has everything you need. Angela and the team are really welcoming. Pretty good place!

Just a typical Jugendherberge, and within walking distance of the city center. The man who greeted me was very unfriendly and made check-in take ages.
