Getting around was easy, with a bus stop right outside and a supermarket close by. The place itself was super cozy, clean, and friendly.

Top, top, top! The rooms were immaculate, and all the little decorative touches made the place feel like home. Everything was clean and lovely, and I even got a discount at the bakery across the street.

A week later I came back and booked the same guesthouse. They remembered us and said they’d replaced the bed in room 10, which was the same room I’d had before. We’d also misunderstood the room booking: we wanted two rooms but only one was arranged. By the time we got back, they’d sorted out another room for us. On my first stay, I thought the guesthouse was okay. There’s a large shared kitchen and laundry, so you can cook for yourself. The room was fine apart from the bed in room 10, which wasn’t in great shape. It’s about a 30-minute walk to the city centre. We couldn’t find a restaurant or pub nearby after 9 p.m., so we had to walk into town for a beer.

The shared kitchen was really useful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and very nice. Just be aware that breakfast isn’t included and there’s no elevator.
