Zum Anker

The service was warm and attentive, and the food was wonderful. The soups were outstanding, the salad with chanterelles was lovely, and the schnitzel with fries was out of this world. You’ll love coming here.

We hadn’t planned to have lunch here, but the food quality really surprised us, and it arrived quickly. We spent around 60 euros for food and drinks for three people. Recommended.

A group of five of us from The American Drama Group Europe stayed at Hotel Zum Anker, and the staff made the experience feel genuinely special. Everyone at the hotel and restaurant was warm, efficient, and attentive to the details. The food was delicious, and our rooms were stylish, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with very large, state-of-the-art flat-screen TVs. Some refurbishment work was going on, but the workmen were so considerate of guests that it was a pleasure to see. I’ve rarely experienced such thoughtful service. If I could give this hotel six stars, I would. Congratulations to everyone at Hotel zum Anker, especially Sebastian and Sarah. You’re worth your weight in gold. Keep up the brilliant work. I wish every hotel held itself to your high standards.

You’ll find this classic Bayern style right in the heart of Ingolstad, with a pleasant atmosphere and a great selection of food and drinks. The food is delicious and comes out quickly. The barrel beer is especially worth trying. Definitely worth a visit.
