Breakfast was great, and the hotel staff were polite and nice. The room service could use some improvement: the soap was empty, the tissue box was empty, and there were limescale stains in the toilet. It’s an urban hotel overlooking a mall, and there isn’t enough parking space.

The bar tapas was nice, though I skipped the restaurant after seeing that a steak cost €32. I paid €130 for one night, and the place felt so dark. The room reminded me of a dog boarding kennel, with its stainless steel door and huge, dark walls. The minimal lighting drove me mad. Maybe perfect for a Goth, but if you drop a black sock, you’ll never find it. It was kind of clean, though the black wall had scuffs and looked worn, as you’d expect. I did like the picture of a girl on the ceiling.

The paintings on the ceilings were the most interesting part, and each room had a different, funny one. Every room also has a big window, a nice view, and is quite comfortable. I’ve never stayed anywhere like it on my travels, so I won’t forget the hotel. If morning light bothers you, bring something to cover your eyes. I’d suggest it if you want to see something different from the usual.

The rooms are compact but nice and comfortable, though they have huge, horrible pictures on the ceiling. They also use enormous mechanical keys to open the rooms. Come on, I don’t think RFID costs more. And the WiFi isn’t free. That’s not acceptable to me, not even 10 years ago. I don’t want to use my phone battery to connect my laptop.
