Bayerischer Hof

The breakfast was very poor, and you have to pay for it. If you book through Booking or another service instead of directly with the hotel, watch out: the front desk woman will charge you separately for breakfast. When I challenged her, she said I should have booked directly with them. The few tomatoes and the cereal weren't fresh. You have to beg for a coffee, which is filter coffee, and there's no tea.

The breakfast was the weak point, with the same spread every day: ham, cheese, yoghurt, assorted cornflakes and oats, juice, watermelon-melon-grapes salad, boiled eggs, cookies, and bread that wasn't even fresh. Apart from that, the hotel was beautiful, and my room was modern and clean. It was well insulated, so with the windows shut I couldn't hear the street, even though the room was beside it. The management were very friendly. The stay was fairly nice, and they deserve four stars because breakfast was the only thing that wasn't so good.

The internet was so slow that I used my mobile data instead. The receptionist didn't tell us much when we arrived, and we didn't have to sign a form. Breakfast was ordinary, with sandwiches and cereals, and the coffee could be better. The room had no balcony or refrigerator. On the plus side, it's nice that they have more personal contact with long-term visitors and know them by name. The hotel is well located and has free private parking next to the building. A few small changes could improve it, but for me it was only okay.

The breakfast was amazing, and everything was very clean. My room at the front was noisy. It would have been five stars, but the single room was very small and hot, with no air conditioning.
