The bedroom was the one decent part: reasonably spacious, with nice windows. But the bedding, pillows, and even curtains had several gross brown stains, which made the lack of cleaning and upkeep obvious. Wi-Fi was provided, yet none of the six devices we tried could connect. The room had a fridge and kitchen area, which is more than most hotels offer, but someone had ripped out the smoke detector and left it in the freezer with its batteries still inside. The bathroom was the worst I've used. Its design is awful in practice: the toilet was nasty, and smells from other toilet rooms came up and filled the bathroom. A shower door was missing its seal, so water ran across the floor, which has no drain. The doors swing into the sink and toilet when you try to get in, and the opening is cramped. The bathroom's sliding door has no lock, catches on the floor, and is hard to open or close. It also scrapes up the bottom trim, leaving wood shavings and damage. The building is far out of the way and looks more like an American ghetto. Inside, the hallway was creepy and dirty, and the creaky staircase was just as gross. The room itself felt like a disaster. It was poorly maintained, badly designed, and uncomfortable. I'd only recommend it if you were desperate.

The contactless setup means everything is handled online. The rooms are okay, and the location in the heart of Ingolstadt is excellent. The downside is the automatic bathroom ventilation, which runs for at least 20 minutes. If you use the toilet during the night, don't expect to get back to sleep within the next 20 minutes or so.

For a reasonable price, the room was comfortable, the check-in was easy, and there was a kitchen. Regular backpackers or travelers should have everything they need. The location is great. There can be an unwelcoming smell on the staircase, probably from the restaurant in the same building, but you can't smell it in the room. Recommended!

The room was nice, maybe even too big, and the kitchen was really useful. Getting settled was harder, though. When I arrived, the entrance door and stairs were under construction, so I wasn't sure I was at the right place, especially with no reception. They should have told us beforehand. The stairs are steep and difficult with luggage. The construction workers were really friendly and tried to help, even though they didn't know much about the place.

The room wasn't clean, but the bathrooms were the worst part. There's no drainage and almost no separation between the bathroom and the room. The shower enclosure barely slopes or drains, so when you shower, the water runs right into the room. The design is catastrophic. The entrance also had a strong fishy stink, and I don't know why.
