IntercityHotel Ingolstadt

The station is literally a few steps away, which made getting around so easy when traveling by train. The hotel was surprisingly quiet despite being right beside it, and I slept well every night. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were lovely, super friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and would definitely stay here again if I come back to Ingolstadt.

The room was spacious and comfy, with a small refrigerator, a TV, and two complimentary bottles of water. There’s no kettle for instant coffee, though. The windows block the train noise well, even though I wouldn’t have minded hearing a little of it. The room was new and clean and didn’t cost too much. Front desk service was excellent, and check-in and checkout were quick. We skipped breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. There’s a LiDL nearby where we bought snacks and food. We really enjoyed our stay.

The rooms and location are good. My only issue was that the TV isn’t a smart one, which can make a long business trip a bit boring.

Having a dog, we really appreciated that pets are allowed, and our furry friend was warmly welcomed too. The location suited us well for walks: there’s a nice park a minute away, plus more green areas along the way to the city center. We also found a lovely bakery about an 8-minute walk away, with lots of pastries, some salads, and coffee. We stayed for a week, slept very well in a comfy room, and the soundproofing was so good we couldn’t hear the railway or other guests. All the staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help, and we felt warmly welcomed. Breakfast was simple, with limited options, but enough to leave us full. I was happy they had alternative milk.
