We had to add €20 to our holiday bill for medicine from the pharmacy after catching a cold. The room window was broken, and the sheets were thin and cold. The shared bathroom would have been fine if the door could be closed. There was nobody at reception, so I had to call using an international number and wait outside in the cold. At check-in, the receptionist handed me the keys and Wi-Fi details while talking on the phone. It felt completely disrespectful.

The service was easy to deal with, and they even let us check out late. We found the apartment spacious and well equipped, which made sightseeing with the family much easier. It was also affordable. If you're driving to Hamburg with your family, this is hard to beat. We'd gladly come back :)

The owners made room for us at very short notice, which we really appreciated. The place was quiet, comfortable, and clean. Fantastic stay, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The city is about an hour away, but the bus connection is great and runs almost 24 hours. The rooms are a good size and very clean, and the shared showers were spotless. Front of house staff were friendly and polite.

Breakfast had plenty of options and was topped up regularly. Coffee costs 1 euro, though it wasn't very good. The rooms were clean and quiet. I wasn't keen on the beds, but I slept through the night. Some rooms had a nice TV and others didn't.
