It’s about a 45-minute drive to the airport, but this is still our favorite hotel near Munich. The rooms are lovely, the views are beautiful, and there’s nature to discover. The restaurant serves tasty food with friendly staff, and there’s a nice sauna too.

The food was fantastic and there was plenty of it. I especially liked the fresh vegetarian lunches, creative coffee breaks, and delicious dinner menus. There’s also a great wine and beverage selection. I was here for a business function and really enjoyed it. The property is gorgeous, about 30 minutes from Munich, and the staff are super friendly. My room was clean and well maintained, though a bit basic.

There are lots of hiking spots nearby, and the place has an old-world charm. We came for an overnight workshop and found the rooms neat and spacious, with lovely food service and amazing guest service. Surrounded by nature, it’s a really nice setting for weddings.

My visit was only for a two-day conference, with no overnight stay. The scenery was even more breathtaking in the nonstop rain, and the service was so friendly and warm. I loved the cats wandering in and out of the conference room. Opening it up between talks let us air it out and stay focused, and seeing the guests smile helped ease the tense atmosphere.

The rooms are clean, but the equipment is very low quality. There’s no TV, AC, or refrigerator, and the space is small. The shower is so cramped that the awful curtain is something you’re afraid to touch. The restaurant food is reasonable but nothing special, and the prices are unacceptable and ridiculous. This place is definitely overpriced and overrated.
