We had a lovely time walking in the woods, by the water, and past all the playgrounds with our dog and grandchild. The accommodation was clean and in a great spot, just steps from the beach. The cleaning team came through every day, and the stairwell was spotless. A big thanks to the hardworking, always friendly staff. For four people, the fridge was too small, and there wasn’t an oven. The Wi-Fi could be better, though it wasn’t a big deal for me.

The Kliff apartment is at the back of the building on the ground floor, and the little garden shared with other guests made it easy to take our dog out for a quick walk. We stayed four nights and had a parking space. The location is handy: three minutes to the beach, five to a bakery, around ten to Netto, and 10-15 minutes on foot to several restaurants and ice cream places. Inside, it was generally quite clean, though there were still skid marks in the toilet. The kitchenette had what we needed, with a filter coffee machine, but bring your own grounds and filters. We had to make the beds ourselves, and there were no toiletries: no soap, just one roll of toilet paper, and no paper towels. The email communication beforehand didn’t feel very friendly.

Our room was spacious and clean, with a lovely balcony, and the location was excellent. The staff were friendly, the restaurant food was great, and breakfast was excellent too. We’d love to return.

The apartment is lovely and in a perfect location, though the furnishings are a little dated. We’ll definitely be back.
