The countryside around the guesthouse is beautiful, and I chose it because it was close to Ralswiek. I usually like supporting local family businesses, but unfortunately I can't recommend this one. At €90 a night, I expected more than a shabby room that felt like a cheaply converted attic in an old woman's house. The carpet is dated, there's a musty smell throughout, and the walls are cracked and stained. The cheap furnishings seem neglected, and the rusty shower cabin is nearly falling apart. There's no breakfast. The mattresses were okay, but the stay as a whole was disappointing. Such a shame.

We visited the restaurant in the building, and I learned that the Lemke guesthouse is upstairs. People staying there were also eating at the restaurant. Some guests at the next table told me about their stay and showed me photos of their rooms. From what I saw and heard, the guesthouse seems just as nice as the restaurant. After seeing those pictures, I'd like to stay there too.

We had another lovely holiday with Rosi and Jürgen, and everything was just right. The guesthouse is great, the staff are friendly, and the facilities are good. Dogs are welcome, there's a fish restaurant on-site, and there's storage for bikes. Even the weather cooperated! We'll be back.

We dropped in spontaneously on two evenings in a row and were able to fit our group of five. The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was excellent. Keep it up!
