The rooms and wellness area were good, though the rooms are small and the walls are thin. Families with children nearby are easy to hear. The cleaning team was friendly, but they forgot to restock supplies and we ran out of toilet paper. An extra roll in the room would prevent that. Our first evening meal was excellent. We had booked an arrangement that included a fruit basket on arrival, a four-course dinner that evening, and massages. The main course was a bit much for one person, and the floor staff hadn't been told about the arrangement, so they initially offered us the buffet. By the next day, other small issues were noticeable. The shared areas could use some maintenance, even just a fresh coat of paint. The women's pool bathroom was closed without notice, and the men's room had no toilet paper. Dinner at the buffet tasted good, but the food wasn't replenished well. We waited about half an hour for the meat for the main course, with lots of people waiting too. Paying for our drinks also took ages. Three of the waitresses seemed like they didn't want to be there. A smile now and then would've been nice. The hotel would be much better if staff paid closer attention to the details. Maybe we caught them during a bad week, but that shouldn't have spoiled ours.

The restaurant was a highlight for me. The menu can be limited at times, but the chef makes an effort to prepare food the way you want it. I also liked the IKEA-furnished rooms, and there was a TV, a pool, a waterslide, and plenty of outdoor activities. It's a hotel out in the country, and it may or may not suit you. There’s no air conditioning, so you have to open the windows to cool the room. That lets the flies in, and there are no screens. I killed more than 100 in four hours, then slept badly, waking up to fight them whenever they landed on me.

We had a great time! We were a big group and usually travel together in our own cars, so having parking at the hotel mattered to us. The facilities and amenities were good, it was comfortable, we slept well, and the breakfasts were great.
