The rooms are simple but clean and well looked after, and the price is great. This Gasthaus is a little out of the way, but it’s worth leaving the main road for the food and a night’s stay. The food was fantastic, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming. Locals clearly like coming here to eat. If you’re staying overnight, they’ll reserve you a table. I’ll have to find an excuse to come back!

Breakfast was outstanding, and the restaurant served delicious local food. Our recently renovated room was very comfortable, too. The owners and staff were friendly and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. The service was excellent, and we wouldn’t be disappointed staying here again.

The food was absolutely delicious, even though the restaurant itself felt a bit old-fashioned, with lots of wood and a little too little light. Everyone at this family-run guest house was super friendly, although their English wasn’t very good. Our room was spotless and felt brand new. The backyard view wasn’t ideal, but it wasn’t ugly, and the place was well kept. We stayed for one night during Covid times. They followed the strict rules, so we felt safe there. I’d definitely return.

We always make a stop here with the family on our way to Italy. The rooms and food are favorites, and the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming.

For the price, this is great value. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and there’s a nice restaurant with outdoor seating. It’s in a small village about 30 min from Fussen.
