The restaurant meal was tasty and good value.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the rooms have been renovated and were clean. The bed felt a bit stiff and uncomfortable. There was also noisy, disruptive work outside our window from 7am to 8pm.

The location is beautiful, but to me the quality felt more like a hostel at hotel prices. There was no heating or air conditioning, and the window opened right by the parking area, so it was noisy. During our three-day visit they didn't provide shower gel. Breakfast was OK, though I did find a small spider in the toilet.

The wine list was quite limited, but the Poggiomoro from 2021 was a good pick. The traditional food was nice, and the portions were large, with a generous helping of salad included.

The hotel is in a handy spot in Goslar, just a few minutes from the town centre and close to many Harz region attractions, so you could spend several days here. The rooms were sparkling clean and big enough, though not very well equipped. There's a good restaurant in the hotel, where we also had a delicious breakfast. WiFi worked well, and overall it was good value for money.
