We paid for a room with a view, but the window looked out onto a garden. The rooms themselves were nice.

The owner gave us such a warm welcome at Residenz Bocksberg-Blick / St. Florian in Hahnenklee. He was kind and helpful, and we felt at home right away. Our little apartment was lovely, clean, well kept, and comfortably furnished. It wasn't big, but it had everything we needed and a nice atmosphere. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back. For a trip to the Harz Mountains, this was a great place to stay.

We had a peaceful, enjoyable stay with our dog. The little apartment was clean and neat, and the view was lovely. It's an easy walk into town, where we found a fantastic bakery and restaurants.

10/10
The apartment, and especially how quiet it was, turned out even better than we expected. Everything was tidy and very clean, including the bathroom and kitchenette. Having rented vacation apartments before, I know that isn't always a given. You can tell the people running this place care a lot, and that comes through in the way it feels as a guest.
