There were hardly any other guests during our stay, even with such lovely weather. The place felt more like a hostel than a hotel, and it was a bit too far from the hiking trails. The restaurant also shuts at 9:30 pm.

The hilltop views were lovely, and we really enjoyed the food. Our room felt luxurious, and the service was friendly. I’d happily recommend it. 👌

You get a really nice view across Thuringia, all the way to the Inselsberg.
