The reception team went above and beyond when my wife became ill during our one-night stay and needed to go to hospital overnight. The young woman at reception helped us while we waited for an ambulance, which arrived with a doctor, and I want to thank her for that. Our room was perfect, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was worth every cent. I'm sorry we only got to spend one night at this wonderful hotel. I can recommend it without hesitation.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly, and breakfast was nice. But being above the restaurant meant noise until 10:30 pm, then it started again at 6:30 am. It was also very hot, with no air conditioning or fan.

My wife and I felt completely at home here. The staff were so friendly, cheerful, and well turned out, and they seemed genuinely happy in their jobs. It was a fantastic stay, and we're already making plans to come back.

The park is just across the street, and the hotel makes a great base for driving to Eisennach or Bad Langersaltz. You can also walk to the schloss, Herzog Museum, and old town in about five minutes. There's overnight street parking. I'd highly recommend staying here.

The people are what make this place stand out. Service and facilities are both very good, and breakfast was plentiful, varied, and generous. My favorite hotel in Gotha.
