The front desk staff were very friendly, and it’s convenient enough for getting around despite being a little outside the town center. The place is simple and clean. Its facilities are a bit old, but they’re well kept.

The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast comes with the price and has a very good selection. For what it costs, I’d give it five stars.

The food is good and reasonably priced, but the proprietor came across as gruff, dismissive, and almost rude. I know tourists, especially foreign ones, can be annoying, but he is running a restaurant/Gasthaus in a pretty little Weinort on the Mosel. Meh.

The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

We found the restaurant through the Schlemmerblock (a discount booklet) and were pleasantly surprised. It looks rustic and old-fashioned outside, while part of the interior has been renovated and is tastefully furnished in a modern style. The asparagus from the specials menu was absolutely delicious. Service was incredibly friendly and efficient too. We’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it! :)
