After a day out, it’s lovely to come back to this snug little guesthouse in the heart of the Black Forest. There are plenty of things to do in the area, whether you fancy hiking, golf, a swim, or just relaxing. The rooms have lots of thoughtful details, breakfast is excellent, and the hostess is welcoming. Service is attentive too.

The hosts were super friendly and even treated us to some delicious goodies, which made the stay even nicer. It’s a lovely house with rooms furnished with care, near Rothaus Brewery. We’ll definitely come back.

I’m a Black Forest fan, and felt completely at ease here. I slept well, enjoyed an excellent breakfast, and went on some long hikes. My seven-year-old son was just as comfortable, thanks to the warm-hearted guesthouse owner and the playground nearby.
