Such a great experience for the whole family!

The food was delicious, and they happily handled requests like no salt or cooking things very soft. There are lovely walking trails nearby, plus an excellent spa with bathing options even for the youngest children. The staff were warm, accommodating, and so good with kids. Schlüchtmühle is spotless and everything feels new, with loads of indoor playrooms, outdoor play areas, and activities such as tractor-drawn carriage rides and alpaca treks. A true paradise for parents and children. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return.

There’s so much for young kids to explore and play with, and the rooms even have toys, so you don’t need to pack a car full of them. The food is excellent, too. We’ve stayed at several Familotels, but no other hotel has impressed us as much. This was our second visit and we’ll certainly come back for a third. Set in the idyllic Mühental valley, the resort is only for hotel guests. It has a small number of rooms and a close, family feel, and the staff affectionately call guests by their first names rather than treating them like a crowd. We wholeheartedly recommend it!
