We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and Spa a lot, and would gladly return. The friendly staff and the house's angled buildings kept surprising us with lovely indoor and outdoor places to relax, plus pools, saunas, statues of fairies, and all kinds of mystical decorations. Thanks to the staff, and to Ms Gmach for her inspiring attitude, for a wonderful time. A few things could make the stay even better. With so many stairs, corridors, and rooms, more signs in the hallways would help guests find their way. A few extra toilets wouldn't hurt either. The cleaning ladies were friendly, but we would've preferred not to hear their hallway conversations for most of the day. We'd also have liked less printing. Given the focus on nature and the environment, it felt wasteful to have every bill, application, and almost everything else printed, even after we asked them to use less paper. We've never seen that much paper used, and surely some of it could be reduced. Asking for tips is fine, but being asked after treatments, at reception, and in the restaurant felt like too much.

The hotel itself is very nice and the staff are lovely, but 300 EUR for one night for two people is ridiculously expensive. The room was average, although clean. Lunch and dinner were nice, but nothing special for that price, and the sauna area wasn't so nice. Breakfast and the restrooms were great, and the cats were lovely :)

There's a wonderful Spa, plenty of food, pools, saunas, and cozy corners to enjoy. This fabulous hotel sits on a hill near Grafenwiesen, with so many special spots I couldn't name them all. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The meals were excellent, and the rooms were comfortable and quiet. I spent five nights there last fall and found the service wonderful and courteous.
