The view and location were great, and we had the apartment on the top floor. But the beds were far too hard for us. My husband, children, and I all had back pain every day afterward. A hard, solid bed just doesn’t work for our family. Otherwise this would have been 5 stars. Beds matter so much, so I don’t understand why accommodations have them like this.

We stayed in the large apartment for five people. It was spacious, had a great layout, and balconies on every side. The furnishings were good, everything we needed was there, and it was very clean. The location was prime, with a magnificent view, and the landlords were very nice. We highly recommend it.

We’ve been coming to Grainau for years and always stay with the Kral family. They’re very friendly and take time for their guests. The place is clean and centrally located near the main hiking trails, the train station, Lake Eibsee, and more. Five stars from us.

The holiday apartment had everything our family needed and plenty of space. It’s in a beautiful location, and the landlords were great. Highly recommended.
