Landlust Hotel

I'd stay here again. The service made the place feel personal, even though current restrictions meant there was no direct contact, and those restrictions were taken seriously. They also did their best to accommodate our special requests, like arriving early and traveling with kids. Payment was really easy, even before we got there. The place itself is more like a motel on B96, but it has some style, with lots of international pictures. The bathrooms are nice and everything else was clean too.

From the outside, the Hotel didn't look too promising to me, but I liked it once I got indoors. The room was big, clean and well stocked, with WiFi, coffee, Netflix and blackout blinds for late sleepers. The door codes made check-in easy at any hour, which is handy when you're traveling through Germany. There's also an electric car charger, and they'll match Tesla Supercharger prices.

A very digitalized hotel, and I was impressed by that. The contrast was the big, hearty breakfast, served by a lovely lady who looked after us well. The beds were fine, the covers standard, and there was a fridge plus coffee and tea in the room. Good value for the price. The old city is worth a quick look, along with Zehdenick and Templin.

For our trip from Berlin to Rockstock, this turned out to be the best option. Great value, friendly staff and a surprisingly good breakfast. ⭐⭐⭐
