We were only there for one night to meet relatives nearby. The rooms were modern, clean, and very comfortable. Both of ours had skylights that opened electrically, along with electric blinds. The manageress was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was really nice, with the usual cheeses, sausages, and pastries. Great for a short break, though I’d start missing having a window if I stayed longer. Excellent, I’d recommend it and come back.

The hotel is clean, quiet, and inexpensive. I took off a star because getting back to a hotel out in the countryside at night felt really scary, and another because there’s no 24-hour receptionist. The reception desk is empty most of the time.

The hosts were polite, and the pension was well organized and very clean, especially the bathroom. The price was great. It’s surrounded by forest and cornfields, with lots of fresh air, and you can go jogging in the morning. From Grasbrunn, it’s a couple of minutes’ walk to the bus, which takes you to the metro. We took bus No 211 to Neubiberg, then the metro into the centre of Münich. The downside was getting around on weekends: buses were limited, and there were none at all on Sunday, so we used a somewhat expensive taxi. We’d recommend adding some weekend bus lines 😊

It’s quiet and decent, and clean for the price, but far from public transportation. It works well if you need to get to places away from the center.
