Hoderhof

What a great vacation spot, with excellent service and lovely owners and landlady. It was a wonderful holiday, just like always. Thanks so much! Booking, arriving, unpacking, and feeling at home was easy.

The mountain and Lake Chiemsee views make Hoderhof such a lovely place to stay, and there are plenty of attractions close by. Our apartment was spotless and welcoming, and we felt right at home. The family were warm and always checking that we had what we needed. Breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade jams and other little treats. We'd happily come back. 😍

Breakfast was generous and everything tasted fresh, from the rolls to the cheese and cold cuts. Katharina and her parents' families were so thoughtful, always seeming to know what we might need. We felt right at home here and definitely want to return.

There’s plenty for children to explore, from the animals and meadows to the playgrounds and nearby woods, and they can spend time outdoors close to nature. The Hoderhof also makes a good base for walks or more demanding mountain hikes, with lovely viewpoints along the way. The setting feels peaceful, surrounded by green hills and fresh air, yet the property is still easy to reach. It’s a welcome break from everyday routines. What made it especially nice for us was the host family’s warmth and attentiveness. You feel included straight away. We’d recommend Hoderhof to anyone after a quiet stay, friendly hospitality, and time in nature.
