The kids had a good time playing outside on the trampoline, and we all slept well in the very comfortable beds. The room was a great size, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. For our family of four, it was just right for two nights arranged at fairly short notice. It's about a 2 km walk into town, where there are several supermarkets, pubs, a bank, and pretty much everything you might need.

Three weeks here were just wonderful. The apartment is lovely, quiet, and surrounded by nature, so it was easy to relax. There were fresh asparagus from the harvest, eggs from the neighboring hen, and fresh spelt rolls for breakfast. It's also a great starting point for lovely outings. Coming back to a warm welcome at the farm each time made it even nicer.

We've never had a better family holiday. Hockmannshof is in a great location, and being able to shop every day of the week was especially convenient. The hosts are attentive and always available, but still discreet. Fresh rolls and eggs were provided daily. We'll definitely return.

We spent two wonderful weeks with the Hock family and their dog Emma. The apartments are fantastic, with lots of room for a dog to play and run around. We especially loved the rare close view of the sheep meadow. Everyone was so friendly. Just keep an eye out for the free-roaming chickens! :D
