Good service and clean rooms, though they’re small. There’s no fridge, and the wireless LAN kept being unstable, with too many APs blocking each other. The walls are thin enough that I could hear someone showering in the room next door. All in all, it was good.

After 14 hours of work, my colleague and I were treated badly by the hotel staff. During dinner, they switched off the lights as if telling us to get out. When we asked if there was anything to eat, we were told no, the kitchen was closed, even though a couple of German people were eating and drinking. For me, this experience was less than zero. If you’re foreigners, stay away!

The rooms were clean and comfortable, but breakfast wasn’t refilled. In the afternoon there was no lobby to use, the bar is permanently closed, and they only speak German.

The hotel eichenhof is close to the Center of greven. The menu is small, but the dishes they do offer are high quality. It’s a more upscale Restaurant, so it costs a bit more than other Restaurants.

The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the hotel is a very cozy place.
