There are lots of hiking options around, and Münster is just a short ride away. We had a lovely family stay in this cosy hotel, with a nice restaurant nearby.

The rooms are quite dated and could use a freshen up, but aside from that I loved my stay. The staff were so friendly and helpful. A special shout out to the receptionist, who went above and beyond to make things work for me and spoke perfect English!

We’d gladly come back. The price felt excellent for what we got, and breakfast was a delicious start to the day. Everything went smoothly, from booking through arrival and departure, and parking was right in front of the hotel. Our large room had a spacious bathroom, plenty of space to move around, and lots of storage for bags, suitcases, clothes, and shoes. My wife and I felt very comfortable there. Everything was clean and tidy, with lovely Christmas decorations already up. The service was attentive and very friendly.

It’s disappointing that you can’t have a glass of wine or something in the evening, since the restaurant shuts at 8 pm. The owner says he wants to finish work for the day. Otherwise, the hotel is fine, clean, and in a quiet spot. Still, the early closing is annoying.

Those were the best pork cheeks, with amazing dumplings and red cabbage. We were so impressed that we took some pork cheeks home and made them again for Christmas. Fantastic! 🌠🌠🌠🌠🌠
