The food was fantastic and well priced, and the staff were really friendly, more like Irish service than the usual German kind. Even the toilets were kept spotless. I was pleasantly surprised by the place. Well worth visiting.

It was peaceful, though there was no Wi-Fi.

We've been going to the Kloster Langwaden restaurant for years, and the old seating has all been replaced since our previous visit. We were there with a small group of friends and family for my mother's 86th birthday. The food was impeccable, and the service was just as good, very attentive and dedicated. Parking, access, and restrooms are all wheelchair accessible, which is especially helpful for people with disabilities.

Langwaden Monastery works especially well for groups that need peace and focus, with simple, practical facilities for exchanging ideas. I'd recommend it for seminars and events where people want a quiet, reflective, inspiring setting.
