The forests and lakes are really lovely, but the rest feels sad. There are hardly any shops in town, and the ones that are there close early. Toilets are closed to tourists all over the place. It really isn’t nice.

I can’t recommend this hotel. The rooms are dated and very noisy, and the bathroom is tiny. We ordered the farmer’s breakfast for €15.90 and pork steak. The fried potatoes were burnt, and my steak was small and cold. The hotel is by the lake.

Grevesmühlen is my hometown, so I’m always glad to come back. The amount that’s changed here over the past few years keeps surprising me.

A lovely little town. There are a few restaurants where you can stop for something to eat, something the surrounding area otherwise lacks.
