The downside was a large delivery van that kept parking right in front of the panoramic window, blocking the view. The apartment itself was spacious and lovely, in a quiet spot, with a room for bikes. The kitchen was good, though it could use more dishes and glasses, so we had to run the dishwasher a lot. There was a grill, but we didn't use it.

We felt right at home in this spotless ground-floor apartment, and it stayed pleasantly cool in the summer. It's in a quiet little village near Lake Hainer, with Leipzig, BELANTIS, other lakes, and the Mining Technology Park all easy to reach. The roomy living area combines the kitchen and lounge, and there's a TV in each bedroom as well as in the living area. One bedroom has a double bed and a big wardrobe; the other has two single beds. The modern bathroom has a rain shower, toilet, and urinal. The kitchen has plenty of useful supplies like spices, oil, baking paper, dish soap, and paper towels, plus a stove and oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, washing machine, and dishwasher.

The raised garden bed was a nice extra, and there's a garage for bikes. We found the place very spacious and modern, and felt at home quickly. It's a great base for bike rides around the Leipzig New Lake District.

We were absolutely thrilled with our Ascension Day stay. The grounds have several holiday apartments in different buildings, with a courtyard and a big wooden seating area outside where you can gather. A grill is available to rent, and there are games and cribs too. The apartments are modern, really nice, and have everything you need. Renting bikes gets you to the lake in about 10 minutes, and Leipzig is roughly 30 minutes away. Definitely recommend it!

We could use the garden and barbecue, and there's a little playground about two minutes away. Lake Hainer is within walking distance. The apartment is lovely and tastefully furnished, and worked perfectly for our family of three children, including a baby or toddler.
