The staff were nice and friendly, but the room was extremely basic. It had a comfortable bed and a toilet and shower, and that was about it. No wardrobe, desk, or anywhere to hang clothes or sit. I’ve seen prison cells on TV with more in them. The hostel is about a 15-minute walk from the train, though there’s a bus stop nearby. Gröbenzell is okay, with restaurants, cafes, and a bank, so you can get most things you need there.
The room was clean and there’s a nice kitchen, but keep in mind that the reception is only open from 17:00-21:00 and you can’t use Wi-Fi in the room. It’s quite far from the city center, so you’ll need to take a bus to the train or walk there. Bring your own bedding to save 2.5 euros, and bring a locker if you’re not staying in a private room. Nice hostel.
Just somewhere to leave your bags for the night. It’s a youth hostel with only the minimum amenities.
Very basic, but it works for a one-night stay.
Munich is about five rings away, and the place is good.
