Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including scrambled eggs, jams, coffee, cornflakes, cold cuts, cheeses and more. It was all delicious. The family-run feel came through in the friendly, attentive and accommodating staff. We felt very comfortable and would happily recommend the place and book again. My older son and I stayed in a studio from Friday to Sunday for a weekend in Grömitz, with parking and breakfast included. We were visiting his mother and younger brother at a health resort. The room was modern, very clean and spacious, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. This was the kind of service you always hope for. We were there in very cold weather, and I can't confirm the room feeling cool as other reviews have mentioned. We could set the temperature just right.

The staff were incredibly friendly, and we felt very comfortable. We came as a couple with our Labrador and, although the website said dogs weren't allowed in the dining room, we were able to bring her to breakfast. It was the off-season, sure, but that's when dog owners are out and about.

Getting around on foot was easy, and the location is perfect for exploring. I had a relaxing stay. The rooms are comfortably furnished and have electric blinds. Access through the hotel's app is convenient, since you don't always need your room key. The bathroom has a pleasant heated wall panel, though a sign by the switch would help guests notice it. The television isn't a smart TV, but that's something you can adjust to. It's a small family-run hotel, and the attention to detail shows, though a few things could be improved. Drivers would benefit from a marked check-in and unloading spot. The parking lot isn't clearly marked, and although the website mentions a parking permit, one isn't needed and spaces are freely available. There's no elevator, so avoid heavy luggage. The bathroom is quite small and wasn't entirely spotless, with limescale on the fixtures and a very dusty ventilation shaft. In winter the room can feel a bit chilly, so bringing an extra blanket is a good idea. Breakfast is adequate for a 3-star hotel, but arrive early if you want the full selection of bread rolls. The scrambled eggs were delicious. Coffee drinkers should know that hot drinks from the automatic machine aren't free with breakfast, except tea.
