Hotel Villa Undine

The breakfast and service were first-class, and we'd gladly return. Our room was clean, nicely furnished and just the right size. The location is convenient for both the beach and town, with plenty of parking available.

We spent the Pentecost weekend at Villa Undine and were glad we did. It's a lovely old house in a quiet spot, yet still close to the promenade and town centre. The room was nicely furnished and roomy, and we even had a sunny terrace. The breakfast really is something else. No huge buffet of ready-made food, just everything made in-house with a lot of care and detail, and it was so tasty. Even the coffee was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We felt at home and surely won't be staying here for the last time!

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was fantastic. I tried canned peaches with cream cheese for the first time, and the combination was delicious. The room was lovely and spotless, and the location was great. I'll be back!

We were left with nowhere else to stay on Easter Saturday evening, so we had to remain after finding blood on the bathroom door handle and floor. We reported the serious hygiene problems, but they weren't properly dealt with. The next morning, the hotel refused our request for a price reduction, and police had to get involved to resolve the situation. The owner repeatedly insulted us and accused us of creating the problem to avoid paying. It was an extremely unprofessional way to treat guests, and left us questioning the common sense of this so-called "hotel operator." Do not book. Zero stars.
