Still laughing about what a great night it was. We came for a private party, and the venue was super. The food was marvellous, with salmon, beef bourguignon or schaslick (can't spell that one), and all sorts of sides. Best sweet potato chips I've ever had. Good local beers too. The staff were cool, attentive and super friendly. Thanks to the host and everyone working there, including the unsung heroes in the kitchen.
The food here is nice, and the service is really good. I loved the homemade ginger lemonade and peppermint tea. From outside, though, it doesn't look like a place that would draw people in. The atmosphere indoors is okay, but brighter lighting would make it much better.
It's a bit far from the city centre, but definitely worth the trip. The menu isn't typical local food, it's world cuisine with their own twist. Everything was delicious, the wine selection was nice, and the people were lovely.
A handy lunch stop close to the motorway. The food was fabulous, service was good, and the beer and wine were good too. Recommended.
The hotel is a little older and isn't right in the city centre, though getting there is easy. The staff are super nice, and the restaurant food is very good. I'd recommend it if you don't mind the age of the place.
