The owner was really accommodating when I had to change my dates at the last minute, and even mailed me my favorite 🧢 after I left it behind. The building is hundreds of years old, with so much of it carefully preserved in the renovation. It was fascinating to see how houses were built back then. All three apartments are nice, though the ground-floor one was the least interesting to me, so I’d try for an upper floor. My favorite place to stay in Bamberg!

It’s a lovely little room in the old town, close to all the main landmarks. We never met the host, but they were very helpful, and both check-in and check-out were easy.

We were very happy with this cute little apartment during our two nights there. Everything was clean and nicely furnished, and our questions got quick, kind replies. The one drawback was the uncomfortable mattress.

Parking was the only real drawback for me in Bamberg, since it’s either residents-only or extremely expensive for a stay of a few days. Alexandra gave us such a warm welcome, though, and the room was wonderful, right in the heart of Bamberg in a charming house. It had everything we could need, with lovely attention to detail. Highly recommended.

The room is worth every penny, and it’s such a different kind of place to stay. Cafe Seel is under a three-minute walk away, and Bamberg’s oldest brewery is just around the corner. I wrote in the guestbook that I’d recommend it to others, and I meant it. I agree completely with the other reviews. Better than any hotel, and you don’t find something like this very often. Keep up the good work!
