The hotel is very close to the church, and you can hear its bells from the room. We had dinner in the restaurant and really enjoyed the food. Breakfast had cheese, sausage, hard boiled and scrambled eggs, fruit, muesli, and delicious bread rolls. We booked a weekend stay a month ahead and arrived after 5pm. The room was clean and roomy, though it wasn't heated when we arrived, so we could set the temperature ourselves. The bed was large and comfortably firm, with 100% cotton linen and both a big and a smaller pillow. The bathroom was spacious too, with a shower towel, hand towel, hair dryer, and nice-smelling soap and shampoo.

The rooms are a real highlight: large, clean, modern, quiet, and comfortable. There aren't many, and they're clearly in high demand. It's a lovely country hotel with a restaurant and bar, serving traditional, good-quality German family food and beers. It's in a semi-urban, semi-rural town, about 50mins from Stuttgart airport at peak times. I'll stay here again.

Kind, friendly service and comfortable rooms, plus great food at the restaurant. A great hotel. What more do you need?
