The location right beside the canal is lovely, and the staff are very friendly. But the summer cottage stay was pretty awful, especially the bathroom. It's a very cramped cabin adapted from a ship, and the wastewater gets pumped out. The noise is so loud that if your partner gets up to use the toilet, shower, or wash their hands at night, it can jolt you right out of bed. It startled us every time. Breakfast also doesn't feel worth the price. We'd return for the setting, but we'd book an apartment or a room next time.

We thought the price was fair, and breakfast, for an extra €7.50, was excellent: plenty to choose from and the eggs were cooked just right. The room was spotless when we arrived, though there were a few marks on the bathroom tiles, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. We mostly needed the room for sleeping, and I really enjoyed the stay. There's a small river running along the property, which makes the surroundings especially attractive. On arrival we were briefly unsure what to do because there's no reception desk. You need to call, and a friendly woman comes over within a few minutes. I'd recommend it.

Our room was well worth the price, and the guesthouse has a lovely view that we'll definitely recommend. We only found the place by chance, but the owners happened to be there, which worked out well for everyone. Thanks so much! We did think the breakfast needs improvement for €15 per person 😀. A bit more attention to the bread and eggs, and perhaps some organic tomatoes, would help. The breakfast woman was kind to all the guests, and we really liked her.

We enjoyed the outdoor space right on the canal, and the host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with everything we needed, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Dogs are welcome, too. We had a wonderful long weekend here with friends and have already booked again for 2022! 👍
