The ferry stop GStadt is really close, with boats to the islands leaving every hour at xx50. You can pay by card for tickets at the pier. The location’s spot on, and parking is easy with plenty of space. Breakfast was super, and the hotel welcomes dogs. Our room was spacious, with firm beds and pillows. I’d go for a balcony room for the view. The Wi-Fi was a bit weak, but everything else was good.

The views are beautiful and the location is great, though the price is high and the rooms are reasonable. But if you’re allergic to bees or wasps, avoid August and September. I’ve never seen so many wasps swarming around a restaurant while people were trying to eat. There seems to be a large nest nearby, and the hotel needs to deal with it. It’s dangerous for people with allergies and an unnecessary nuisance for everyone else. My second photo shows a bowl full of wasps on a table.

We only had a day here while passing through, but I’d come back. Even in July it was quiet, and the place felt peaceful and pleasant. The Alps view is lovely, and you can swim or take a boat to the island. The surroundings are beautiful for walks, and it’s a great spot to unwind. The room was solid and the food was delicious.

The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable, and the price for the property is great. We arrived after booking hours, but the staff had left keys and instructions explaining the hotel rules, which was really nice. The hotel has a great view and location. In low season there isn’t much to do nearby, and food is hard to find. The shower could use renovation.

Breakfast comes with a view of the lake, and the hotel is well located near the water. Parking is included in the room price. We had a small room without a view, but it was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is tidy and the service welcoming.
