Breakfast was included, with plenty to choose from: fresh rolls, fruit and vegetables, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, jam, and more. Everything was set out nicely, and nothing seemed to be missing. The room was spotless, with fresh-smelling linens and very comfortable beds, pillows, and duvets. It had lots of space, a double bed, bunk beds for the kids, a sofa, table, TV, a large wardrobe, and a generous bathroom with a tub. My husband, our two children, and I stayed six nights at Hotel Jacobs in Gummersbach, and we were delighted. We were greeted so warmly when we arrived. Although we had booked a triple room, the host offered us a much bigger quadruple room at no extra cost, which gave us more room with the children. He was kind, attentive, and always happy to chat. You could tell he cared a lot about the place and its guests. We all slept well and felt at home straight away. We have no complaints at all. We come to Gummersbach fairly often because family lives there, and we’ll definitely stay at Hotel Jakobs again. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

We’d been visiting children in the village and didn’t want to drive back to Bonn after dark, so we booked a room. The welcome was friendly, the room clean and practical, and breakfast more than adequate. We got a friendly goodbye, too. The price was very reasonable. I’d recommend it.

I felt comfortable here. The room was clean and cosy, the staff friendly, and breakfast had a great range of choices. A very nice hotel, and one I’d recommend.

The room was spotless, including the corners that often get missed. It was a quiet, comfortable hotel, and I slept well. Definitely recommend it.
