The house beer was so tasty that we bought two liters to take home. The food was amazing, especially the roast pork knuckle, which was a steal, and the house pancakes for the kids’ dessert. The staff were really friendly, and the place was clean and cozy. Definitely worth stopping in while in Germany!

I’ve been coming to the area for years, and the food has been great every time. The Flammkuchen and any of the roasts are well worth trying. The staff are lovely and helpful, too, so it’s a great place to get lunch in town.

That sweet schnitzel sauce was delicious, and the schnitzel itself was cooked just right. The fries were a highlight too, with their sauce and a texture that just melts in your mouth. Some of the best I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere feels local and nice.

We really enjoyed the food and locally brewed beer at the restaurant and bar. Staying in Gummersbach was convenient too, since the place is right in the city center. I’d recommend it.
