At 10 p.m., the receptionist confirmed without hesitation that my room had been cancelled, after the hotel became “overbooked” because of an event nearby. I hadn’t been notified, even though I had an email confirming my reservation. There was no attempt to find another room, call nearby hotels, or help me get somewhere to stay. The only response was, “Well, what now?” That says plenty about the staff and the manager’s attitude. They may have clean rooms and cheap rates with breakfast, but cancelling a confirmed booking and leaving guests without accommodation is the most basic service failure. All I could do was wish them good night… good job NHhotel!

I’ve stayed here a lot for business in the past, but this doesn’t feel like a 4 Star Hotel. On my last visit there was mould around the bathtub. They moved me to another room, but it faced the street and was noisier. Mould is a no-go for me since it can be spotted and dealt with ahead of time. I also left an item behind and drove back that same evening. Getting it back felt like it was hidden away somewhere and only the ancient Guardian of lost Stuff could find it. They said they could send it, but only within Germany, so I had to pay 12€ to have it sent to an address in Weinheim. It took over a month to arrive. I’ll avoid this hotel in future.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a great selection. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We had great service and an extremely good breakfast. The hotel is in a great spot if you’re visiting Miramar Therme Park. The only issue was that the restaurant kitchen closed earlier than the posted time, at around 2100.
