Zum Lamm

It's a lovely spot in a rural area with a charming old town, though it's not for everyone. The accommodation is decent for the price, in an old-style building with a family feel rather than a commercial one. The room was clean and the bed sheets were fine, but I'd suggest bringing your own towels. Breakfast at the restaurant was simple but enough, and there was no internet. If I'm in the area again, I'd like to come back.

This was a horrible hotel. It was closed, and the owner opened it for guests when needed. The heating and hot water didn't work, and the place was terribly dirty, with flies and fleas everywhere. I threw up when I went into the room because of the dirt. The only solution is to demolish the building. Please run away from this so-called hotel as fast and as far as you can.

The restaurant seems to have closed, sadly, and the hotel is starting to show its age. Zumm Lamm is a lovely old place in a pleasant German village, near Mosbach and other towns, with easy access by local rail.

The welcome was excellent, and there's a good choice of local specialties. The wine selection needs improvement, but the place deserves a visit.
