That little backyard was a favorite, cool, peaceful, and a nice place to sit. The location also makes it easy to walk to the nearby church and the village center, and there’s table tennis and other recreational space. Staff were especially warm and helpful. The place was very clean, with nice bathrooms and a kitchen that does the job. The beds were okay, but I really didn’t like the pillows. Windows and doors kept out almost all the sound from the busy road and construction nearby. The big problem was the heat: there’s no AC. It’s usually not that hot there, so I get why it wasn’t installed, but during our three days it was almost unbearable. There’s a washer and dryer on site, though I don’t think detergent is provided.

The apartments are lovely and look recently renovated. I did have to shower in the dark, though, since there were no curtains and the bathroom faced the marketplace. I’m sure seeing me would’ve put people off their food shopping! 😁

Everything I needed was in this lovely apartment, and it was furnished really nicely. The bathroom was beautiful and the cleanliness was outstanding. I felt right at home and would definitely return. The village has a bakery, snack bar, and restaurants, while Norddeich and Norden are just 10 minutes away. Thanks, and best wishes.
