Parkhotel Phoenix Garni

The quiet setting, clean and well-kept room, and lovely garden were all positives. But I can only give the hotel a qualified recommendation. After a long drive, I was holding a baby who had become quite uncomfortable, and the owner insisted that I write down my address and pay immediately. The reception service stayed brusque and unfriendly after that. Maybe she was just having a bad day, I don’t know, but there was no reason for it. Friendly service should be a given for me. Such a shame!

We spent four nights here over Easter and felt comfortable the whole time. The beds were comfortable, and both the nicely furnished room and the bathroom were clean and well kept. Breakfast was good and plentiful, with nothing missing. The owner was consistently friendly and helpful. If we come back to this area for a holiday, Parkhotel Phoenix would be our first choice.

Our hostess was lovely and friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic, with everything we could want. The place was very clean too. We had a wonderful weekend and would love to come back. Thank you!

We felt right at home with the pleasant hosts. It’s in a quiet location, and the rooms are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast had everything we could want.
