The staff were so friendly, and the room was modern and really comfortable. I spent a week here in June 2020 in a single room, and Hagnau was a great base, close to the lake and an easy bike ride from Meeersburg, Friedrichshafen, and Überlingen. Breakfast was brought to the table because of Corona, which worked just fine. I had a wonderful stay and would come back.

We were very happy with our week away and would definitely return. The Hansjakob Week package included dinner each evening, with a good range of dishes and even room for special requests. Everything was delicious, and the portions were almost too generous. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and attentive. The included four-course romantic dinner was satisfying too. Breakfast had plenty of fresh, appealing choices. The hotel's central position made it easy to walk around town, and there are enough restaurants nearby for the two nights when the hotel restaurant is closed. Our room looked out over Lake Constance, and we loved the decor and comfortable beds. The balcony's sloping roof kept us sheltered even in light rain. The bathroom was small and in excellent condition, though the shower floor was very slippery.
