We had a great experience.

We found the hotel far too expensive for what was offered. Our booking confirmation listed a TV in the room, but there wasn’t one. The room had just two single beds and a wardrobe. At least it was clean. The staff’s behavior was especially disappointing. We’d paid for late checkout, yet at 10:20 AM they rudely and aggressively told us to leave. They only backed down after we showed the bill, and still didn’t apologize. For nearly €90 a night, we expected facilities to match the offer and respectful service. I can’t recommend this hotel.

We stayed one night at the Lindenhof guesthouse. The old buildings are beautiful, but the place still felt like a construction site, with only a few rooms on the second floor nearly finished. The elevator stops at the first floor, which is a real problem for anyone with mobility issues. Our rooms were bare and sterile. One had no bedside lamps, and there was no picture or anything on the walls. The bathroom had no wastebasket, and the soap dispenser by the sink was empty, with no dispenser in the shower either. The flat-screen TV and telephone were missing too. We paid the full price per room despite all this. Once the work is done, it should be recommendable, and the price should make sense.

Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were very clean, and the beautiful building had a lovely breakfast room where they served an extensive breakfast. We’ll be back.
