Ibis München Airport Süd

After a long flight, this is a very convenient place to get some rest, about two miles from Munich International Airport. Restaurants, stores, and ATMs are a short walk away, and there's a fuel station on the way to the airport if you need to top up a rental car. Check-in was easy, and the staff were polite and professional and spoke English. The bathrooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the cleanliness met IBIS standards. Breakfast was delicious, much better than what I've had at American hotel brands. We'll definitely stay again.

The hotel itself is modern, clean, and nice, and the staff were friendly. But our late evening check-in was painfully slow. They couldn't find our rate, and at 11:30 pm we just wanted to get settled without hassle, especially as a gold Accor member. The manager sorted everything out the next morning, but I don't think I'd stay here again.

After 16 hours of travel, my girlfriend and I stayed here for one night. The room was cozy and stayed warm in mid-November, and breakfast had a nice range of food and drinks. It was a great experience.

The rooms are compact but comfortable, and it's only a six-minute taxi ride from the airport. Most of our group arrived in the afternoon and checked in smoothly. My daughter got there at midnight, though, and had to wait at reception. It seemed like answering the phone mattered more than helping the person standing there.
