Bergedorf Haus 9

My husband and I arrived late at night, but the digital box wouldn’t give us a key even though we entered the correct code. We called six times and nobody answered, so at 2 am we had to find somewhere else to stay. When we called the next morning, we learned someone had checked in and out for one night, even though our booking was for four. The person in charge was aggressive and kept insisting we were the ones who had stayed. We asked him to check the form, which in Germany people have to fill out and show ID for at check-in, but he became even more aggressive and ended the conversation.

The rooms weren’t properly cleaned, and some amenities were missing or didn’t work well. Male staff members were rude and disrespectful, and their lack of professionalism made the stay uncomfortable. Customer service was poor too, with slow replies and little willingness to address concerns or guest needs. Based on my experience at Hotel Bergerdorf Haus 9, I’d urge potential guests to be cautious and look into other options. It may help to read more reviews and learn about the hotel’s standards and service.

The kitchen was okay, though the hob and oven were very slow. Rooms are small but fine. The bathrooms and showers are shared, which wasn’t for me.

A nice, inexpensive spot for a night.
